Current OER Research from the OER Research Fellows

John Hilton

Open Education Group at Brigham Young University

The OER Research Fellows are a group of 44 graduate students and faculty members who are doing research on a variety of OER projects. The OER Research Fellows are funded by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and in this presentation I will synthesize the cutting edge research they are doing. This work examines OER research in many settings and from many angles, including cost-savings, student and teacher use of OER, perceptions of OER, and the educational impact of OER adoption.
