Video Journal of Open Education
OCWC 2014 conference is going to be full of novelties, one of these will be run by Knowledge 4 All Foundation which has a long standing tradition of experimenting with new publishing paradigms, namely the academic video journal. At OCWC 2014 we will make sure to select the best presentations filmed by VideoLectures.Net into the first Video Journal of Open Education – Volume 1.
The submissions will undergo a peer-review process by the editors and members of the editorial board and will be rated in terms of relevance to the scope of the journal, research and educational content but also in terms of entertainment value, presentation and level of accessibility of the topic. It calls for presentations on original and high-quality research describing the role of Open Education, Open Education technologies, Open Education Data, Open Access, licensing and best practices in Open Education. This first volume will comprise of a bulk containing: accepted OCWC papers, filmed presentation and a short video interview with authors at the conference site.
The selected presentations will then be included in the Video Journal of Open Education – Volume 1.
